Dr. Zdonczyk is a board-certified neurologist who has practiced in the Atlanta area for the past 25 years. In 1991, he joined the current practice in Douglasville. A native of Argentina, he graduated from La Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1982 and completed his residency at Loyola University and the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Chicago in 1988. He sees people with a wide range of acute and chronic neurological conditions, and strives to assist them to optimal wellness and function.

Education and raising awareness are life-long interests of his, and he has had several medical students rotate through his practice. Recently, he led a WellStar Community Education Program on Common Neurological Disorders.

He received recognition for CMS Stage 1 2012, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2012. Publications and presentations have included: Nicotine and tremor (Zdonczyk, D., Royse, V., Koller, W. C.), Cranial neuropathy in systemic malignancy in a VA population (Gupta, S. R., Zdonczyk, D. E., Rubino, F. A.) and Cardiac transplantation in female Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (Merchut, M. P., Zdonczyk, D., Gujrati, M.).

When not taking care of his patients, Dr. Zdonczyk enjoys bird photography, cycling, technology and travel.
